DALLAS, TX (August 1, 2022) “MIW Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Minnesota”, a newly launched partnership between Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW), a (501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to the advancement of female leadership in radio broadcasting, and the Minnesota Broadcasters Association (MBA), announces that Ava Lynn LaRue has been named its inaugural mentee.
The Minnesota based mentoring program, with Minnesota Broadcasters Association President Wendy Paulson at the helm, is MIW’s newest mentoring opportunity and the start of its three to five year strategic plan to partner with State Broadcast Associations across the United States and assist in building in-house, ongoing programs devoted to coaching and guiding the next generation of radio professionals.
Ava Lynn LaRue is the Station Manager for Q-Media Group, LLC. operating out of Red Wing, Minnesota. With a profound passion for radio, Ava has been in Red Wing for the last five years building her career in radio management - starting as a morning show co-host followed by a promotion to Program Director, then to Operations Manager, and now the Station Manager for a cluster of four radio stations with 10 employees.
