Dallas, Texas (June 2, 2021): Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW) announces the addition of Emmis Communications Market President Taja Graham to its Board of Directors. MIW is a 501(c)(3) charitable entity consisting of top-level female radio professionals who use their experience, influence and resources to help other women in radio develop management and leadership skills.
Taja is a proud graduate of the 2011 MIW Mildred Carter Mentoring Program, and in 2010 completed the Rising Through the Ranks Management Course for Women presented annually by Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) and MIW. Taja’s radio career began in 1991; she joined Emmis Communications in 1996, progressing up the ladder in various roles and earning her current position in January 2021. As Emmis/Indianapolis Market President, Taja leads a dynamic team of over 130 employees with a 4-station cluster and a statewide network. A recognized leader in both the radio industry and her community, she serves on the Indiana Broadcaster Association Board of Directors, is a 2018 Center for Sales Strategy Super Hero Recipient and a 2011 Indianapolis Junior Achievement Best & Brightest Winner for Media, Entertainment and Sports.
