The MIW Group Mentoring Program was established to match a Mentee with female professionals who are leaders in all aspects of the radio industry. All of the MIW's participate in this innovative program.

The MIW's have assisted Mentees with learning more about the ins and outs of the industry, with networking up and down the corporate ladder and with providing guidance for the Mentee to grow her career in whatever direction she chooses.

Jacquelyn Bullerman

Jacquelyn Bullerman has been in the Advertising industry for almost 20 years.  She originally started at a small agency in Detroit, MI and filled many roles there including: traffic, media assistant and ultimately media buyer.  She has also worked at the national level working for NBC Cable as a media planner.   She ultimately found her home at Arbitron where she has been for the past 10 years.  Her responsibilities have varied but some of her past roles have been:  Agency software trainer, PPM Market Manager and her current role of Digital Media Manager.

Jacquelyn was born and raised in Iowa (Go Hawks!) but moved to Michigan for college and has been there ever since.  She lives with her husband, 3 year old daughter and two elderly cats.  She also has three adult step-children. Her idea of a good day would begin by curling up to a good book, then spending time with her husband and daughter and finally it would conclude with a sleeping daughter and a dirty martini in her hand. (Jacquelyn's hand not her daughter's).

Danielle Outlaw

Danielle Outlaw is the Vice President of Sales at Neuhoff Communications with responsibility for sales generation, strategic planning, staff training and development and business relations for twelve commercial radio stations in Central Illinois and television stations in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Danielle has nine years of experience in the radio industry after beginning her career with Clear Channel Radio in 2003 as an Account Executive. Within two years she developed and cultivated the position of Non Traditional Revenue Director of Springfield, IL, being the first within this cluster to hold the position.  In 2005, Danielle was promoted to General Sales Manager overseeing the sales department for a cluster of 4 stations.  In 2008, Neuhoff Communications purchased that cluster of stations and in 2009 promoted Danielle to her current position of VP of Sales.

Danielle has been recognized as “One to Watch” among the Most Influential African Americans in Radio by Radio Ink Magazine in 2010 and has served as a panelist and presented topics in a number of industry meetings including the Radio Show and International Broadcaster’s Idea Bank.  Additionally, she has been honored with an award of volunteerism from the Family Service Center of Sangamon County and was selected in 2009 by the Business Journal to be listed as one of the "Forty Under 40" of central Illinois business leaders.

Prior to working in the radio industry, Danielle previously held the position of Divisional Sales Manager for May Company’s Famous Barr.  Drawing her business philosophies from her background in Retail Sales and Customer Service, she approaches sales and sale management with an “at your service” attitude.

Danielle received her B.A. in Sociology from Eastern Illinois University and has also achieved certification through the Radio Advertising Bureau as a Certified Radio Marketing Consultant, Certified Digital Marketing Consultant and Certified Radio Sales Manager.  Also a graduate of the Radio Adverting Bureau, BMI and MIW groups’ “Rising Through the Ranks” management program after receiving 1 of 25 national scholarships.

Calling Rochester, IL home, Danielle balances work with family calling wife and mother her most important responsibilities.

Erica Pefferman

Erica Pefferman was born and raised in Joplin, MO.  From a very young age, she was immersed in the family retail clothing business…beginning with wrapping presents during Christmas time at 9 years old all the way to managing the store and buying at markets across the country while she was still in college.

Erica attended both Missouri Southern State University as well as Columbia College in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with minors in Marketing and Management.   After leaving college, Erica worked at Sparlin Advertising Agency in Joplin until she started her own business in 2001.  Erica became a part of the Zimmer Radio Group family in 2003, starting as an assistant and working her way up to Director of Sales in 2010.

Erica has been married to Brad for 7 years and has five children ranging in ages from 3 to 13 years old.  She has been very active in her community, holding positions on committees for the Columbia Chamber of Commerce,  leading a financial ministry at her church, as well as serving for four years including being named President of the Rainbow House Board of Directors, for a not for profit dedicated to protecting children from abuse.

Erica has a great passion for helping people discover who they really are so they may give the best of their lives to the things that really matter the most – personal relationships, service to their community, and fulfilling their heart-felt calling in life.
