Mentoring & Inspiring Women in Radio Biography
Denyse Mesnik oversees all aspects of Beasley Broadcast Group’s public relations and communications outreach. She is responsible for media, industry, community and employee relations for the Company’s corporate presence. Additionally, Denyse generates and distributes press releases for the 40 plus radio stations in Beasley’s portfolio, and she collaborates with station-level programming and promotions management to ensure consistent messaging and comprehensive media coverage of station, market and company-wide events. Also, as the Company’s public relations executive, she participates in various state and industry forums on behalf of Beasley.
A co-founder of the industry’s Radio Communicators Group, Denyse currently serves as a Director of the Florida Association of Broadcasters and a member of the Executive Committee of the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group (MIW). On a local level, she serves as a Director of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Gulf Coast Chapter. Denyse been recognized as a “Woman to Watch” by Radio Ink Magazine and has on numerous occasions participated on Communications Task Forces for the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), iBiquity and HD Radio™. She is a past member of the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) annual conference steering committee.
Denyse joined Beasley Broadcast Group in 1990 and was elevated to Director of Corporate Communications in 2000 and to Vice President of Corporate Communications in 2010. She is a graduate of Emory University and attained her professional Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2003.
