Aleta M Clardy is a marketing and media strategist who provides strategic direction, marketing consultation, media placement and advertising sponsorship sales, business writing and project management to businesses and entrepreneurs. Aleta has been successful in using out-of-the-box strategies to enhance classic marketing and advertising concepts designed to maximize customer investments as well as generating revenue through sponsorship sales. She also provides radio sales training.

Having twenty plus years of sales, marketing and media placement experience, Aleta started private consulting in the year of 2004 to assist small businesses and entrepreneurs with their brand image and marketing campaigns.

Prior to this, Aleta spent over ten years as a senior sales management executive for Clear Channel Radio Corporation, where she led a team which generated advertising revenue in excess of $70 million nationally for Clear Channel and Radio One owned radio station groups. One of her most notable accomplishments was when she managed a national sales team to generate $13.8 million in sales revenue resulting in a 40% revenue share. This was vital in catapulting WGCI-AM/FM to its #1 revenue ranking in 1999; the station’s one and only time holding this prestigious position. Her exceptional performance landed her a promotion to Vice President/Marketing for Katz Urban Dimensions, the urban rep firm owned by Clear Channel where she developed new business for the aforementioned radio station groups.

Aleta’s achievements did not originate in sales management. She began her career in advertising as a secretary and continually climbed the corporate ladder to Media Director by expanding her knowledge and skills in strategic media planning and placement for a number of nationally known advertising agencies; Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy & Mather, Burrell Communications Group and E. Morris Communications where she managed several Fortune 500 clients with media budgets in excess of $60 million. She believes it was these experiences that ultimately prepared her for the sales and marketing success she eventually achieved.

Aleta has enhanced business-to-business and consumer marketing experiences that honed her appreciation for researching, assessing and synthesizing information that provides expertise in problem solving and strong customer relationships.
